Miniback widgets are fully customizable via your project dashboard. All changes are previewed live in the dashboard.

Appearance Options

Color

  • 6 preset colors: primary, secondary, success, warning, danger, default
  • Custom hex colors: Use your brand colors with any hex value

Theme

  • light (default)
  • dark

Position

  • bottom-right (default)
  • bottom-left
  • top-right
  • top-left

Size

  • small: Compact button for minimal designs
  • medium: Standard size for most websites
  • large: Prominent button for high-visibility needs

Border Radius

  • none: Sharp corners for modern designs
  • small: Subtle rounding
  • medium: Balanced rounded corners
  • large: Fully rounded for playful designs

Behavior Options

Text Customization

  • Trigger Text: Customize the button text (default: “⭐️ Feedback”)
  • Placeholder: Customize the form placeholder text
  • Submit Text: Customize the submit button text

Emoji

  • Show Emoji: Toggle emoji in the widget UI on or off

Category Selector

  • Show Category Selector: Let users pick a category when submitting feedback, so reports arrive pre-categorized (Builder+)

Bug Context Capture

The widget automatically attaches technical context to every report. Some of it is configurable per project:

  • Screenshots with annotations: users can capture and mark up the page (Builder+)
  • Network capture: opt-in toggle to record network requests, with configurable redaction rules for sensitive data
  • Console logs & interaction breadcrumbs: captured automatically on all plans

Branding

  • White-label: hide the “Powered by Miniback” branding on the widget (Studio only)

Security Options

Domain Restrictions

  • Allowed Domains: Restrict feedback submission to specific domains
  • Wildcard Support: Use *.yourdomain.com for subdomain support
  • Development Mode: Allow localhost for testing
